The Real Housewive’s of New Jersey‘s Joe Giudice and Teresa Giudice are fast approaching their sentencing date for multiple counts of bank fraud but they are opting to deal with it in very different ways. Teresa has become more of a homebody and seems to have really settled in with her 4 daughters at home. Instead of publicly gunning for attention she seems more focused on her kids than ever. Unfortunately her dirtbag husband is resorting to his old vices.

Rather than pulling his family together Joe is usually MIA. According to the June 23rd print edition of Star Magazine, he spends most days hanging out at Jersey Meatball Co. getting plastered with his friends. Joe has always been loosely described as a high functioning alcoholic that is usually plastered by nighttime.

That has changed in recent weeks and Joe has been spotted out and about sloppy drunk by afternoon. Clearly he can’t handle the thought of likely going to prison for 4 years minimum and so he is burying himself in the bottom of a bottle every chance that he gets. Instead of spending more time with his daughter’s Joe is rarely around and when they do see him it’s certainly not for quality time.

When Teresa Giudice‘s father-in-law keeled over and died in her backyard the family was crushed but that tragedy also bought her and her shady husband, Joe Giudice a few more months of freedom. After pleading guilty to several fraud charges back in March the couple will now be sentenced on Sept 23rd.  While Joe is expected to be locked up for years before possibly being deported, it’s Teresa’s future that is unknown. She could end up in a woman’s prison for 27 months- something that would keep her from raising her four daughters for a decent chunk of time.

According to the July 21st print edition of In Touch Magazine the thought of going to jail terrifies Teresa and she admits that it has kept her awake at night. Obviously she is hoping for some kind of house arrest but there is a realistic fear that the judge presiding over this case could choose to make an example out of her and throw that proverbial book at her. Teresa has spoken out about how bad she feels for her kids, especially her oldest daughter Gia who is made fun of and bullied on social media. In reality Gia is taking the heat for her criminalistic behavior and Teresa wasn’t at all concerned about how her dishonesty might affect her kids while she was living in luxury.

Apparently, we must always have a Giudice on our TV screens, despite the fact that they are D-list criminals who belong away from the spotlight – and in prison.

However, reports confirm that Joe Giudice is currently in talks to star in his own TV show after his wife Teresa Giudice’s prison incarceration. The show would focus on how he and the family are coping after Teresa’s imprisonment, and how the family would then deal with her coming home and him beginning his 41-month sentence.

The whole thing is sickening, isn’t it? Joe Giudice and Teresa Giudice committed fraud, and the judge was already lenient with their sentences because they were famous and they had young children. By rights, they should both be rotting in prison right now, not posing for magazine cover shoots and discussing the possibility of starring in a reality show.

This would also reward Joe for his illegal behavior, and both he and other reality stars will think that committing a crime and getting a TV show out of it is normal. It sets a very bad precedent for other people, especially since the entire show seems like it will focus on Teresa’s prison incarceration.

In fact, he told Access Hollywood’s Housewives Nightcap that Luis is a “decent guy.” At the time, he also said that he wouldn’t mind going to their wedding.

Talking about Joe, she said that he met Luis and they get along, In fact, she loves that Luis was the one to arrange a dinner meet-up with Joe in the Bahamas. So, if they marry in Italy, she has no problem with inviting her ex.

Teresa said, “Of course, I have to invite him because our hometown is like 45 minutes from Capri.”

Taking to Instagram on February 19, Joey Gorga shared a video that showed him embracing Joe Giudice. In his caption, he said, “Both walked into the same bar at the same time. A lot of history there. We have memories since we were kids. I’m happy he’s doing well and looks good. We were both happy to see each other and catch up. Glad someone caught it.”  Well, that sparked Gia into a rage and she replied hard and fast.

The RHONJ star ranted at Joey, saying, “this is honestly comical knowing you were with him for not even 5 minutes and we’re able to have somebody take a video of the interaction.”

Next, she bashed him for talking “so poorly about my father.” Then, she continued by calling Joey an “opportunist to take advantage of the once in a lifetime opportunity to see my father and use it for a post.”

As fans are well aware, both Joe and Teresa ended up in prison and their kids went through a difficult time. On The Real Housewives of New Jersey, fans saw Melissa acting terribly concerned for them.

Real Housewives Of New Jersey stars Teresa and Melissa both want to return again. And it seems that while contracts are not yet out, they will probably renew those two. As to whether things will calm down between Tersa and Meissa isn’t known, and Andy confessed to that. He said, “We will see.” It seems to be too early for the execs to actually make any final decisions just yet. After all, they need to first “do a deep dive into the season and see where the viewers are at” before more decisions are made.
